Niagara University is the best of both worlds for Charlee Bauer.

The Grade 12 student at Saint Michael will be able to compete as a Division 1 softball player while staying close to her Chippawa home.

“It is very important to me because I love my family and my little brother, Grayson. He’s only six years old so I don’t think I could leave him for too long. I would miss him.”

Grayson was on hand for Charlie’s signing ceremony Monday at Saint Michael and did manage to stop running in circles long enough to pose for a few pictures with his family.
