Ashlyn Fehr and Nick Karagiannis were named Saint Michael’s Grade 12 female and male athletes of the year at the school’s recent athletic awards ceremony.
Grade 11 athletes of the year were Angelo Butera and Jaela Carter.
Grade 10 athletes of the year were Fionn Aneesh and Serena D’Amico. Grade 9 athletes of the year were Jessiah Bowyer and Rianna Cuviello.

Carson Gauthier’s first Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations medal in track and field was greeted with a muted response.
The Grade 12 student at Saint Michael wasn’t overly excited about his silver medal in the senior boys javelin.

STM grade 12 student Ava Bechkos is the recipient of Brock University’s Niagara Principal’s Scholarship!
This award recognizes students attending Brock in the fall, who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and commitment to school and community. Congratulations Ava, and best of luck in your future studies at Brock University!
Congratulations goes out to Grade 9 student, Tanya Joseph who participated in the Celebrating Writers: 2024 Gallery Exhibition last night at the Board Office! Tanya's essay entitled, "Masked Reality of Deception", was selected to be on display and showcased in tonight's event.
This Gallery Exhibition brought together talented, creative writers from students across the NCDSB representing Grades 7-10. Written compositions included expository, persuasive, informational, and narrative works. Amazing work, Tanya!
